Dr. Marni Rosner is a New York City-based licensed psychotherapist. For over 20 years, she has provided psychotherapy to individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, loss, and infertility. She received her Master’s degree from Columbia University, and her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Her post-graduate education includes psychoanalytic training from the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC) as well as training in group therapy at the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (an affiliate of the American Group Psychotherapy Association). She is the recipient of the University of Pennsylvania’s Dr. Ram Cnaan award.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Rosner provides supervision and consultation to other clinicians and researchers, participates as a reviewer for various academic journals, and frequently serves as a consultant on various psychological topics for magazine/ezine writers and authors. Dr. Rosner is an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service, and is the former editor of the University of Pennsylvania’s Doctorate in Social Work newsletter, The Clinician.
Dr. Rosner is a Fellow of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, as well as a member of the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work, the Women’s Mental Health Consortium, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
